American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) AGMA is a full service trade association representing 400 manufacturers and users of gears and gearing products, suppliers of equipment and services to the industry, individual consultants and academicians. AGMA has members in 30 countries and, in fact, is quickly becoming the Association for global manufacturers in the gear industry. Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is a network of plastics professionals around the world promoting the knowledge and education of plastics and polymers. The goal of SPE is to help plastics professionals increase knowledge in the plastics industry by keeping its members up to date on the latest breakthrough technologies as they happen, and by encouraging active membership in the ever expanding plastics industry network. Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) The Society of Automotive Engineers is a one-stop resource for technical information and expertise used in designing, building, maintaining, and operating self-propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space. Nearly 80,000 engineers, business executives, educators, and students from more than 97 countries form its network of members who share information and exchange ideas for advancing the engineering of mobility systems. Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI) Founded in 1937, the Society of the Plastics Industry, Inc. is the trade association representing the fourth-largest manufacturing industry in the United States. SPI's 1,700 members represent the entire plastics industry supply chain, including processors, machinery and equipment manufacturers and raw material suppliers. The U.S. plastics industry employs 1.5 million workers and provides $304 billion in annual shipments.
